AQUA Canyon is a system of light weight Polypropylene (PP) tiles or channels, which are an ideal alternative to traditional concrete options for formalising water run-off paths.

Designed to convey water on steep slopes, e.g. at the edge of highways and railways, AQUA Canyon consists of modular elements that can be quickly and easily connected through an integrated interlocking mechanism.
Manufactured from Polypropylene for excellent weathering and chemical resistance capabilities, the product has many benefits over traditional concrete alternatives:
- Lightweight; only 1.75Kg per unit,
- Low carbon footprint; recyclable at end of life,
- Excellent flexibility; 40º of articulation at each joint (±20º),
- Easily installed; either pinned or concreted into place depending on ground conditions/ access,
- Low surface roughness; capable of conveying up to 400 litres per second,
- Can be installed in series for increased flow capabilities.
Quickly and easily installed AQUA Canyon can be used as a temporary or permanent solution anywhere a formalised flow path needs to be created.
VARIABLE SLOPES AND FLOW RATES…
Depending on freeboard and slope angles, actual flow rates will vary along the path of the construction. Consideration should be given to the maximum flow rate of the section installed with the minimum slope angle to ensure overtopping does not occur.
